+a. Member room picks are determined based on seniority by the date a member contract is signed to Elsworth Cooperative.
+ i. Before the end of each contract period, the Membership Officer must allow all future members of Elsworth house in order of seniority to choose their member room for the following contract period.
+ ii. Returning members have the right to retain their member room for the coming contract period.
+ iii. In the event that a member signs after another but moves in in the season before (I.e, summer and fall), the senior room pick will belong to the person who moves in first.
+b. In the event that a member wishes to release their contract, they will be responsible for finding a replacement for their Member Room, as opposed to any existing vacancy member space. Until the replacement member has signed a contract, the departing member is responsible for paying house charges.
